Happy Whale Therapy is a pediatric speech therapy practice that specializes in helping children develop effective communication skills. We offer play-based, individualized therapy to support speech, language, and social development.

We specialize in early childhood development, primarily serving children ages 2 to 6. We also support elementary-aged children in strengthening their communication skills.

We support a range of communication challenges, including:

  • Speech sound delays and articulation issues
  • Language delays (understanding and using words)
  • Social communication difficulties
  • Apraxia of speech
  • Stuttering and fluency issues

Happy Whale Therapy is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, conveniently serving families in the surrounding areas including Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, and Boca Raton. We offer in-person therapy sessions only at our Fort Lauderdale location.

We currently accept:

  • Private Pay
  • Step Up for Students scholarship
  • Aetna

Florida Blue may offer reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits, depending on your coverage.

An initial evaluation involves:

  • A parent interview
  • Observing and interacting with your child
  • Standardized assessments, when appropriate
  • A written report and personalized recommendations

Session frequency and duration are customized after the initial evaluation.
